ABOUTAbout JLA
JLA Strategy
JLA Human Chain
Human Chain is a method to search a drowning victim, by forming a row firmly holding each other’s wrist. Lifesaving represents two activities: “to learn and practice Lifesaving itself”, and “to widely contribute to society by promoting the concept of the spirit of sanctity of life which is learned through Lifesaving”.
The JLA Human Chain symbolizes that our activities are developed with key areas of “Environment”, “Rescue”, “Education”, “Sports” and “Welfare” firmly bonding together to further help and save others.
Swim & Survive
Understand the dangers of water and learn how to survive
As the basic idea of preventing accidents, it is essential to understand where risks exist and how it changes by time and condition, and to have the ability to respond to these risks especially during activities in natural environment.
JLA promotes education to acquire the ability to “enjoy while thinking and acting safely” and avoid dangerous situations in various water activities.
